General Terms and Conditions of René Schildt

§1 Applicability to Entrepreneurs and Definitions

(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer in the version valid at the time of order.

consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional activities (§ 13 German Civil Code – BGB).

§2 Formation of Contract, Storage of Contract Text

(1) The following provisions regarding contract formation apply to orders placed via our online store: https://www.Renes-Photostore.com.

(3) The presentation of goods in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather an invitation to the consumer to place an order. By submitting an order, the consumer makes a binding offer to conclude a purchase agreement.

(4) Order Process:

  1. Selection of desired goods

  2. Confirmation by clicking the "Order" button

  3. Review of shopping cart details

  4. Clicking the "Proceed to Checkout" button

  5. Logging in (after registration) with email and password

  6. Verification/correction of entered data

  7. Final submission via the "Place Order" or "Buy Now" button

The consumer may correct input errors by using the browser’s "Back" button or cancel the transaction by closing the browser.

We confirm order receipt via an automated email ("Order Confirmation"), which constitutes acceptance of the offer.

(5) Contract Storage:
The contract text, order details, and GTC will be emailed to you. The GTC are also accessible at: https://renes-photostore.com/refund_returns/. Past orders can be viewed in the "My Account → My Orders" section.

§3 Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment, Due Date

(1) Prices include statutory VAT and other components. Additional shipping costs may apply.

(2) Payment Methods:

  • Advance payment

  • Direct debit

  • PayPal

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

(3) For advance payments, the consumer must remit the amount immediately after contract conclusion.

§4 Delivery

(1) Unless otherwise stated, all items are ready for immediate dispatch, with delivery within 1 business day. The delivery period begins:

  • For advance payments: the day after payment instruction to the bank.

  • For other methods: the day after contract conclusion.

If the deadline falls on a weekend/public holiday, delivery occurs on the next business day.

(2) Transfer of Risk: The risk of accidental loss/damage passes to the buyer upon delivery.

§5 Retention of Title

We retain ownership of goods until full payment is received.


§6 Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Withdrawal Policy for Consumers

Consumers (as defined in §1) may withdraw within 14 days without justification.

Withdrawal Period:
14 days from the date of receiving the goods (or a third party designated by you).

A clear statement (e.g., letter, fax, email) suffices. A model withdrawal form is provided below but is not mandatory.

Effects of Withdrawal:
We will refund all payments (including standard shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, using the original payment method. Refunds may be withheld until goods are returned or proof of return is provided.

Return Obligations:
You must return goods within 14 days of notifying withdrawal. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
